Bill and Ruth were married in DeWitt in 1959. They raised two daughters, Karen and Lori, in the Central DeWitt Community School District, the same district Ruth graduated from and later taught in for over 30 years. Bill served in the U.S. Navy and was later employed by Chemplex.
Education and specialized training is so important and hopefully the scholarships will help someone obtain their life’s goals. It is an honor to be able to give back to the community that means so much to our family.
Scholarship 1: Elementary Education Scholarship at Central DeWitt High School. If there are no elementary education applicants then students pursuing a degree in education are to be considered.
Scholarship 2: A skilled trade scholarship at Central DeWitt High School. If there are no skilled trade applicants, then students pursuing a two year degree are to be considered.
